The Eagle Nebula - M16 in SHO Narrowband

The "Eagle" nebula (M16/NGC6611) in the constellation Serpens is also known as the "Star Queen" Nebula and contains a segment known as "The Spire".
Both the "Eagle" and the "Star Queen" refer to visual impressions of the dark silhouette near the center of the nebula, the area which was made famous by the 1995 Hubble Space Telescope image known as as the "Pillars of Creation".

This image was exposed with a QHY268M through a simple doublet 80mm refractor (at 500mm focal length) as a secondary project during the mornings between 12-24 July 2023 to take advantage of the couple of hours of the night sky after the primary imaged object drifted out of the line of sight.

The total integration time was 14 hours and 10 minutes of subs, SII (26x600s), Hα (11x600s) & OIII (20x600s) subs with added 21 subs of 300 second of Luminance, 30x60 second red channel subs, 29x120 second green channel subs and 29x180 second blue channel subs for the star color data.
