I feel alot better today. I was struck down with Man flu but it seems to have departed. It's the day after the big SGL switch over. I must say the forum looks really impressive and I'm getting to love it. At the momment I'm waiting for the wife to finish work so I can go. Working the afternoon shift this week. James my son is playing with his friend on WWE Xbox. Francesca my daughter is in town shopping with her friend. All I've done today is surf SGL. What a life.

SGL (My take on it)

I sometimes find it hard to comprehend the sheer scale and size of SGL these days. From its humble beginnings when a couple of guys were sharing some time on a yahoo group to what we have today - an active community. What this place means to so many people is something that for me i find difficult to put into words. When SGL is off line for any reason i feel left out somehow. When SGL's imagers share their great work i feel humbled at the aesthetically pleasing images they produce, knowing that

Food for thought....

To those that actually bother reading/taking on board/taking time out to use the grey matter before shooting off at the mouth/keyboard. Welcome to the new look SGL. As for the others (the troops will soon set you straight) :director:

Blog Mungus - A day of new things

Well here's the first test of the blogging option in SGL. Not much to report. UP to my eyeballs in work with mags and review stuff, along with project in Spain...just ordered a new GPUSB from the USA for £56 inc delivery, which is £30 less than I could get it here in the UK...c'est las vie.. (and that's with the USD being total pants right now....) More soon...I hope, if I get time

Ahhh New forum, blogs, Albums etc

Ahh a new forum so I have decided to play with everything. First the blog where I have nothing funny or interesting to write so will aim to cause mass narcolepsy. Well I say mass but as no-one will actually read this I may have to add fake links to it from the internet from dodgey websites. Perhaps a form of torture the CIA could use. Anyhoo this afternoon involves the search for the mythical Shed grail of a shed that doesn´t turn into a swimming pool every time it rains. I am hoping sealing it

SGL's New Software

Hopefully today is the day that SGL moves over to the new software that we bought recently. A huge thank you once again to Grant for all the hours that he's put in getting it all to work. I'm pleased to have been able to contribute to the move over by checking various settings and permisions. So far it's looking really good!
