  1. omg something has just occured to me: maybe the camera is not inserted enough into the barlow???
  2. nothing happend, video was kinda blurry too... =( i thought that at least i could take nice pics with prime focus at the moon...but they looks weird
  3. i tried to take pictures at the moon, i discorvered that it's a take focus..i mean, for the telescope the focus looks fine (it looks fine in the little screen of the camera too) but when i zoom the pics and when i put them in the computer they are kinda blurry even tho the focus is right...why? =( will this happen with the asi 120mc too? I hope not..anyway, i took also a video and im currently processing it with pipp (1200 frames of 7800 total) let's see what happens with the video...
  4. wow, didn't expect to buy other things, i can afford only the camera...think im gonna go with the color one lol
  5. <3 <3 <3 love it! I have a 12" dob and televue 2x for now, but maybe in the future i'm gonna get the 5x too, it's not so expensive... can't wait, guys <3
  6. *I'm in love. What's the difference between the mono anc color version? Why would someone choose the mono?
  7. I give up, lol, hope I'm gonna have some fun with this one: http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p5919_ASI120MC-COLOR-USB2-0-camera-with-objective-image-Planets--Sky--Weather---Autoguid.html
  8. wait, isn't this the method everyone uses with the ccd cameras using icap, sharpcap etc?!? i'm confused
  9. also im about to try this, it allows to use the dslr as a webcam! so i can capture lossless avi's, i guess!
  10. I'm reading on the internet that u shuld choose the focal length of ur lens or the most similar, in this case i would leave 1000mm as my telescope is 1500mm (3000 with the barlow) ...gonna make some video test in one hour on jupiter. there is an excellent seeing, finally.
  11. okay thanks =) as for the image above, IS it's the image stabilizer, right? im gonna set it to auto but don't know how many mm i should set...
  12. can u suggest me what should i do with this option? if i activate it it does a slight zoom, i can choose auto as u see or is2 (horizontal) and is3 (vertical) i can choose from 8mm up to 1000mm as in the picture...what should i set?
  13. I tried to record a video now at home in FINE, and it's bigger than the one i posted here...i guess it was only 30mb because except for jupiter all around were only black?
  14. I will try later with different exposure...what I don't undestand now is should i record with FINE or NORMAL? Normal seems to be bigger file (better data?)
