Cone Nebula NGC 2264

Two nights ago, 12 X 5 min, iso 800, UHC filter, Stacked in DSS, processed in photoshop.

I am reluctant to stretch too much because of noise. I will try this again with more subs and possible higher iso whenever we get another clear sky.

That is a very nice image for only an hours worth, it does seem a bit dark and blurry though.

I hope you don't mind but I had a play with the image at work on Microsoft office picture.

you are right it does show the colour noise if stretched a bit to far.

away I looked forward to your image when you add more data.
