Jupiter and Venus conjunction from California

I am currently in California and have been observing the conjunction with a 60mm spotter scope. We are 8 hours behind the UK and 15 degrees further south. It's great to get both planets in the same FOV. The phase of Venus is excellent and together with Jupiter showing its bands and then 3 moons one side and the 4th on the other makes a great sight. It's been 105 degrees here today and its great to be outside in shorts and tee shirt.
