Fish-tail end?

There's a 2" nose piece on astroboot, and it is described as having a plain fish-tail at the rear [i'm presuming DSLR end].

What is a plain fish-tail? Is it a T2 thread with flange? I'm guessing not. After a 2" nose piece with T2 to attach to a DSLR T-ring for under the £20 they seem to go for everywhere else.

I bought one of these thinking I could unscrew the inner part of my t-ring and screw this in its place to give me a 2" connection to my DSLR. Turned out the fishtail end is too greater diameter for this purpose though.
