Sharpcap2

Hi Craig,

You can try running the AVI through PIPP to repair it.  Though I have seen Registax fail on larger AVI frames in the past and never really got to the bottom of it.  You have a couple of obvious options:

(1) Use AS!2 instead of Registax for stacking.

(2) Reduce the number of frames (quality selection) and size of the frames (frame cropping) using PIPP and run this file through Registax.  Example here.

Cheers,

Chris

I am having MANY troubles with Sharpcap 2.5 and ASI120MC. It doesn't work well with my netbook dual core 1.0 Gbytes of memory. It crashs, the movie has bad frames (none adjust solve this issue), The main window has crazy behavior: if I want move up and down the menu with mouse, it changes de value of some slider. If I want change the value of a slider ... it moves up and dow with the menu !

About your problem with AVI, I think that it is because of RAW 8 bits that Sharpcap can do. I think that Windows Media Player doesn't like RAW.

For me, the best Media Player, that has codec for all kind of movie and it is very easy to use is MPC-HC from http://mpc-hc.org . From AVI to MOV and others !
