Not posted much lately due to thermal problems with the C14. I am starting to get on top of it though just as Jupiter goes away. Typical. Here's one from the 25th.  Comments always appreciated!

Cheers for that Robin. I've just put it up on my old monitor and it looks awful! Can't believe the difference that monitors make! Lots of things I'm not happy about but the one good thing is I'm starting to pull detail. These C14's are a big learning curve. - I was getting far better results with that C11!

You are starting to sound like a new government...   ...things are going to get worse before they get better.

I know you are getting there with the cooling, just got to hang in and keep closing down the problems.

DeepSpaceProducts is run by Edward Thomas, he was very helpful and delivery was very fast, about 5 days from the US.  I tend to turn it on 30 - 60 minutes before a session, together with a desk fan to circulate the air and an extractor to equalise the temperature inside and outside the obs.

Nice shot. Lots of finer detail visible. Maybe playing around with RS6 wavelets would tease out more detail
