Sorry for making so many posts SGL all in one day

I have noticed I have slight tilt on my system & it is down to the rotatable focuser.

Now it appears to be lower left side as in this image

I have three adjustable grub screws on the focuser, what's the easiest method to find which of these three to adjust ?

Do I take pot luck & trial & error or this there an easy way of working this out.

Two things to determine here:

1) which screw?

2) which direction to turn the screw?

Do 2) first. Point your setup at polaris with the camera focused for the centre of frame.

Now move focus in and out until that corner is in focus.

Note direction of adjustment required.

For 1), knowing which way is up/down and left/right with a setup should be intuitive, but I always get it wrong.

So take some images in the daytime, same orientation, with best-guess corner masked off, hopefully some darkening will be apparent in that corner.

Once you've found which is the bottom left corner you can detemine the appropriate screw, and turn it in the right direction, probably while imaging the polaris area again.

Almost trial & error really.

It's not huge but it is noticeable so I will try that and see how it goes.

I have two rotatable sections & it's very handy for framing, I know for sure it's the one nearest the CCD which narrows it down.
