Comet Lovejoy Jan 25th another take.

Used the Comet only method in DSS this time. I wanted to get the starfield tonight but no go. I'm liking this look though. Gives the feel of movement just right for the subject.

25/300 second lights @ ISO 800 12 darks and 30 bias stacked in DSS and tweeked in PS and LR.

I prefer comet images just stacked on the comet they give the image a sense of something out of the ordinary.

I agree sir. Gives the feeling of soaring through space yes. I may try to combine Images of this one and just the star-field just to experiment. Not very happy with the final image using comet and star method using DSS. Color is way off and there is some banding present.
