US equivalent of Skywatcher Heritage-130P ?

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I am looking  at buying a Skywatcher Heritage-130P telescope for my own use. I have a friend who has a place in the US that is also interested in that telescope. Rather than buying one in the UK and transporting it to the US does anyone know if there is an equivalent model available there?

Interested mainly due to simplicity of operation, size portability and optical capabilities.

Any help gratefully received.

Andrew

Bushnell did, but I seem to remember reading here that Celestron were going to release a version of it under their name. I think there was a competition for what they should name it. Can't find a link or reference though.

actually it looks a bit smarter than the skywatcher version , imo .

the writing on the ota makes the heritage look a little toy like , although its not at all . but would look better with a solid colour finish .
