Updated power box

Having slapped together a power pack to run my cameras mount etc mid winter I have spent a few hours this week updating it to a more mobile version.

As you can see it was made from a thrown together wooden box which had to be lifted and carried to and from the garage to the garden. This seemed like a good idea at the time but once built the box added to the awkward weight/ size of the battery.As you can see like many I have opted to convert a mobile tool chest the house the battery leaving a perfect space down the side to store my solar trickle charger that I'm hoping will arrive any day nownow

Looks very neat! Are you going to insulate the box to stop it getting too cold once the darker and cooler nights arrive?

I probably won't insulate the box but I have always laid a small cot quilt over the old box to stop condensation build up and will probably still do this even though the new one is plastic.
