Eq5 RA motor help

Hi

Maybe this is a dumb question but I have just got a RA motor drive for my eq5 well I have had it for about 2 months but not got round to using it.

Reading the instructions it says to push all buttons down to make the motor track objects at the right speed

However nothing seems to happen. When I select a speed and push the RA button the motor moves but I'm guessing that's not what you are meant to do

Anyone that can help?

Or is it as simple as just switching it on because when I do that and don't touch any buttons I can hear the motor doing something and it appears to be moving very very slowly

Yep, just switching it on will do it. Put your ear next to it and you'll hear it humming slightly. To track in RA you don't need to be pressing the buttons.
