virtual astronomy???

just found this on amazon,somehow u can use a small telescope and a large tv to skyhop from the comfort of your living room.(dont ask me if its any good ,probably not but worth a look anyway)

yeah pretty much ...the pictures of space is on the TV and you point the telescope to it, then observer their photo's of what astronomy looks like lol( the picture moves and zooms in...not the Telescope)

So you need to put your scope at the minimum focussing distance from the TV - which means you probably need to put the scope in the garden and look through the window - which means you might as well look at the sky instead.

Slightly more practical ways of doing indoor astronomy are remote observatories e.g. Rent-a-Scope
