At last a clear night!!!!

Before Christmas I got a fringe killer from Aunty Flo, and recently the 40mm GSO ep from Rob, last night I finally got a chance to try them out. The fringe killer "does what it says on the tin", only thing is it gives a yellow cast to the object, but I found that I got used to it pretty quickly. Saturn looked good useing the ST 120 / 2X Antres Barlow / Vixen 6.5 plossl. Seeing wasn't to good though.

The 40mm ep promises some good wide field views, just got to get the house finished before the 1st March!!! then I can relax and get some serious observing in!

Only got to get the Solar film on the Evostar now, and I can sunbathe and observe at the same time :sunny: :sunny:

Will hopefully be able to submit a more detailed report later, and I have found a campsite that could be a great location for a French star party if anyone is interested.
