collimating cap

Recommended Posts

You have a choice between a collimation cap, Cheshire collimator, and a laser collimator.

There are auto-collimators and barlowed collimators but the first three will do fine.

I use a collimation cap and a laser collimator.

Thanks mick

Do you use them both to collimate at the same time or do you sometimes use one because it is easier?

Use the collimating cap to adjust the secondary so it's got the correct tilt, and shows all three primary clips.

Then use the laser to get the dot in the donut and collimate the primary.
