First attempt at astro imaging

Here are my first attempts at astro imaging. One looks a little over processed. Also shot Saturn, posted in the Planetary section. Any tips/criticisms are welcome!!

Equipment:

SPC900NC with adapter, but no other modifications

Nexstar 8SE

Software:

SparpCap for capturing

Regstax 6 for stacking ( or at least attempting to stack...I need to read a tutorial )

not bad at all for the first time out...those weren't captured last night were they?

Yes, they were captured last night. The first one was captured just as the sun was setting, so it was still quite bright outside. The second was awhile after sun set, but not all that dark. I knew that I would not be able to stay up too late, and wanted to image Saturn, so I started early with the moon.

For first attempts they are excellent. The first is a little overdone/exposed ... but the second is spot on.
