I've always fancied a binoscope.

Just can't justify doubling up on all my eyepieces!

You don't

The recommended way is to use one or two pairs of favourite eyepieces, and then use different OCS lenses on the binoviewer nosepiece to reach the different magnifications.

For example I use Brandon 16mm eyepieces, with a combination of "2x OCS lens", "1.5x OCS lens" and "No lens" to reach three different magnification levels.

For low-power (DSO) use, I don't use the binoviewer...
