Well stayed up a bit later tonight - nice clear skies but light pollution is dreadful around here. Finally found the fuzzy blob in Hercules so strapped on the DSLR and took this - made up from 10x30sec subs only. I found a neat trick where I can drop my 2" filter into the focuser tube (attached to the extender off my Panaview EP) and this allows me to use my LP filter with my DSLR and/or any other eyepiece. Seems to of helped a bit here. Looks like I may of picked up a small galaxy to the left of the cluster - cant seem to find this on Stellarium - anyone know what its called?
