This is the best image i took last night.I couldnt be out late last night (tell the truth my eyes were closing whilst i was taking this),so Saturn was fairly low at 8pm

I did Gordon but to be honest it didnt look good on the screen as i was trying to focus.

I was using a Orion shorty barlow and it was making the image very dark,i may have to look for a cheap Ultima/140 later on.

The APO barlows do make a difference. That being said, the dark image on the screen does get lighter when you stack it. A 4 meter focal length is hard on your mount though and I can imagine focusing is difficult. The image scale is much nicer though, especially if you shink it to 75% after

I think next time i have a serious go i will take the 66 off the C8 to cut down on vibration and wait for Saturn to be closer the zenith to reduce atmospherics.

Oh yes and by then hopefully i will of sorted out focussing (mmmm moonlite 8)
