My first rubbish image of saturn!

Andy, You may find that the limitations of the CMOS camera makes it hard to get a sharp image. For £35 plus a few quid postage it might be worth investing in that Phillips SPC900

The stand is easy to remove.

By way of comparison here is my 1st saturn image using a NexImage camera which is basically the same thing as the SPC900NC

It's not brilliant and I still need to perfect my technique in capturing images, but like I said, it's a learning curve and each time you apply what you've learned from the previous session and things will (hopefully) improve.

Nice first image there, lots of detail too! Oh and thanks for the continued advice, am just about to look into what's been mentioned.
