after a couple of goes ive finally had a good squint at Saturn

super pleased

managed to get this pic using just a 10mm EP, x2 Barlow and my iPhone.

Im well proper chuffed i am !!!!!

Looked much much clearer to the eye

Could make out the shadow of the rings, at least 1 moon (im assuming Titan) and im half convinced i could see the Cassini division (although im not 100% convinced on this at that magnification)

Still, a great night for a newbie !

just a quick snap but it came out reasonably well considering the gear
