Today's Sun - 23rd March, white light

Here's an image of the sun taken this afternoon. White light through Nikon D300 and Baader film.

Faculae associated with active regions 1175 and 1176 are clearly visible, with AR1176 looking like it could develop into something quite large.

If the clear weather continues, I hope to track it across the disk (hereby guarenteeing cloud and rain for the next week!).

Thanks for looking.

Kevin
