Can I suggest you get a hold of Steve Richards "Making Every Photon Count" (FLO £19.95) to give you an informative and instructional walk through the steep path known as astrophotography or as we sometimes call it, the "Dark Side". It is important before buying anything that you have this overview as it can be quite an expensive interest if you have expectations of producing some good quality images - it depends on what your expectations are. Earl above gave you a good list of considerations of which the mount is probably the most important and almost the most expensive. This book will certainly help you get to grips with it all and in fact might even save you money. You wouldn't want the first image of a black hole to be the one found at the bottom of your wallet!
