wow, I see you scopes a pretty old, how do they perform after so long? Not being cheeky just curious.

The old SCT 8 inch is working absolutely fine - these old scopes can last for ages I had it checked over by Telescope House who confirmed for me that they thought it was really a good scope in good order - I have read of people still using the orange tube celestron scts of the 1980s and they say they work just fine! I havent tried the old tal for a while ..mmm must give it a go! Ofcourse the weather could not manage to let us have 2 nights in a row of clear skies so I hope Nexus you got some clear skies last night!

Does anyone else get the munchies after having a late night session with the Scope or is it just me??????????????
