Fan Baffle and Speed

Hi All,

I have fitted a 12v fan to the rear of my new scope and have two questions.

1. Will my tube cap if fitted snugly at the rear act a sufficient Baffle?

2. What make the most effective fan speed regulator for the 12v PC fan?

Thanks.

I don't understand how you plan to use your tube cap, except if you make a hole in it (the idea --if you pull air-- is to force all the air from coming from the top of the mirror, which is why a ring baffle at the other side helps, and if you push air the idea is to ensure it doesn't bounce off the mirror backside back out the back, but in both cases the outside end of the fan needs to be exposed to the ambient air).

I'm using something like this:

In Car Adaptors

to regulate the voltage.
