First Light with Celestron SkyMaster 15x70 Bins

Due to a second installment of tonsillitis I was rudely awoken by pain at 4am... on the plus side, the sky was only experiencing the odd fluff of cloud and the seeing was relatively good for urban Paignton and it's light pollution!

I snagged my newly acquired SkyMaster 15x70 bins which I picked up from FLO in the week.

After a rummage around the sky for a while I happened upon what appeared to be a galaxy (I was observing through a window!)

At this time of the morning, I was completely unfamiliar with the constellations but I've just managed to discern that it must've been the M3 globular cluster... cool

First time I've ever observed any DSO without a Telescope.

Thanks for reading.
