Hey guys,

here is a sketch I did this morning of a sunspot group on the sun:

Very impressive. Like that. Is that a 60mm aperture? (trying to make it out from your notes).

Yeah, sorry about my handwriting, It can be a little hard to read for some people. I use a classic 1959 60MM refractor for my solar work because a 10" reflector is way too much for the projection method. I'd like to get a visible light filter, but money is a little short right now & I'll try and get one asap. I'm definately going to get one before the transit of Venus next year though! That's an event I want to view with my own eyes through the telescope, & not something projected on a board. I attached a pic. of me taken a little while ago when I was suing this setup.
