hi another eyepiece question.

i was told that you can get away with lesser quality ep's at lower mag but need a better quality eyepiece at higher mag? is this true?

Yup - pretty well spot on. When you magnify the object you also magnify the atmosphere at the same time. In cheaper eyepieces, and especially at fast focal ratios, the results can make the view very unviewable

Well that's put my mind at ease a bit lol.

i've bought a skywatcher 40mm and 25mm plossel, and an antares W70 15 and 4.3mm ep's, i know the antares are not in the same league as nagler's but was told there very good for the price.

the 250 is fast at 4.7 or is it .6 so i know at somepoint to get the best out of the scope i'm going to need to invest in some really good ep's but hopefully the ones i have will do a good enough job for an amature like myself.
