The eskimo nebula; lost in space...

a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't to sure on what to do, waiting for Coma berenice to come up, so i decided to have a go at NGC2392, the esquimo Nebula. I had seen some nice Hubble pictures on the net, but I failed to notice it was only 20" in diameter... anyway, here it is:

it's the result of 12x1 min exposures on the Atik11000-CM. for the full, go to Celestron 14 EdgeHD Telescope site, C14 gallery, page 2, and download to be able to zoom.

Good job you have a C14! I think this would just look like a star for me...

yes, with your refractors, it would be a bit touch and go... regarding that picture, I'm thinking of using a barlow next, as the tube can do much better, I'm sure...

Yes, and the object is bright enough to show at f20. Give it a try. Very exciting!

Very nice! Your pic shows, why this objects are named planetary nebulas. Could be a blue planet with some details.
