I'm tire of the clouds over northern California so I had to pull the scope out and test out my new afocal camera mount. I'm not too sure about the settings for good afocal photography and I haven't edited the pictures at all...but they're not completely horrible. Shot through the clouds with my G11 camera and 4.5" scope. Afocal shots using an Orion SteadyPix rig.

If anyone has good guidlines for afocal settings (f stop, exposure timing, etc) I'd love to hear them. I'm trying to read all I can on the subject as this weekend is supposed to be more clear.
