Which dovetail?

I have a 900mm focal length 114 reflector (worth about £5) that I want to mount on my Vixen GP I have rings but no dovetail though. Do I get the 30cm skywatcher dovetail or the 20cm one? Both will work but the 30cm one will be more stable... or will it? Will there be more flex in the 30cm one or more torque in the 20 cm one due to the tube rings being so close together?

I'd sort of go for the longer one.

If needs be you can saw a bit off to use attached to a camera

for tracked widefield stuff
