I picked up 4 old copies of Astronomy Now at Astrofest for £1- They are excellent. The most recent was Jan 2009.

When I compare them to what I remember of the current edition in Smiths the latest seemed thinner and had less adverts. Am I right? Is it waning? Or is it just my memory?

Not managed to have a look through mine yet!

Too busy reading 'Making Every Photon Count' and looking at Stellarium, Star Walk and Red Shift on the iPad.

Hi Chris I was out with my binos learning the stars (i've aready installed a red light outside) until it got too misty then I was reading the mags to 2am.

Yes but I won't tell anyone!

Checked at home and reckon I won't have any problems. Only street light for the village hall appears to be off. So if I get into it, then an observatory will be next I reckon!

I can't be 100% sure, without digging out some old copies, but there doesn't seem to be any less content to me.

No sure about past copies but I was very impressed with the volume and content when compared to the SK@N mag, it has prompted me to consider a change after all these years with the one journal, if that is anything to go by
