Hi All

Got a email alert from the BAA informing me of a bright supernovae in the Galaxy NGC 2655.

Having looked at the discovery image the supernova appeared very dim about 17th mag. So i was quite surprised when i took a CCD image of the target and the supernova appeared quite bright est about 12.5 / 13th mag.

image shot last night on Feb. 2nd 22.00

SN2011B was discovered by Koichi Itagaki Jan 7th 2011.

Tonight i have full cloud cover , shame as it would be interesting to monitor its fade, hopfully get a chance over the weekend !!!
