SO waiting for my Explorer 120M.

Hey all.

So I am waiting to recieve my Sky Watcher Explorer 120M.

With a Focal at f/6.92 is this then considered a good f or is a mediocre f ?

Also I am looking at what I would be able to see in first light. Whats the limit of this telescope ?

I am looking to do some astrophotographing at some point and for just trying it out I have a cheap webcam. Have any of you tried taking pictures with cheap webcams (10 - 20 euro) and from what you expected how good were the results then ?
