thommo10
I have just come in frozen stiff from testing my etx, as CGolder suggested, focused on Jupiter with 28mm Mead Plossl, at first couldn't get to focus properly, left scope out for about a 1and half hours, I went back out and was suprised at the difference I could make out two dark bands, I then Barlowed it 2x, couldn't make out much more detail. I then turned to the Orion nebula again I could make the gas cloud surrounding the Trapezium, put the Barlow in and seperated the Trapezium, so my conclusion is although my etx is keeped in a shed it still requires a long time to cool down, also I think I was expecting too much. Many Thanks to Rik and CGolder
