Scope for a casual observer, more an imager

Hi guys, I'm more of an imager than an observer...use my 15x70 bins if I want a quick look at the sky.

I'm now considering getting a 8" Dob, the one FLO are selling for £270. I'm not really sure why I'm considering that one tbh, just that many people recommend Dobs and it seems a reasonable price.

I would be storing it in a outside shed ....is this ok to do???? Never used a Dob before, are they grab and go or do they take some setting up?

Is there anything I should know or consider before I take the plunge?

Just to be clear, I want a scope for visual only...I'm happy with my imaging setup.
