NexStar 6se on HEQ6 mount

I am about to change my NexStar 6 mount for a Skywatcher HEQ6 Synscan Pro but the dovetail on the scope is on the side on the original mount and will be on the bottom on the HEQ6. Although it doesn't matter that the red dot finder moves round 90°, my piggyback camera mount will also rotate 90° which is less than ideal. What can I do about this?

nothing(that i know of), its the whole point of a eq mount. you could add a 2nd finder... but if you are imaging then do u need a finder past the alignment?

I did something similar to my C6 SE. I don't know about the piggyback mount, but the finder goes from the right upper corner of the OTA to the left upper corner of the OTA which I didn't find to be a problem.

If you want to same orientation, I suggest remove the existing dovetail bar and use tube rings and dovetail.
