finder scope upgrade

Hi guys, just bought this and was wondering what make it is?

would be usefull to know.

i just cant stand the finder scope on my lxd75 so needed an upgrade.

The main lens has a diameter of 3 inches and the scope is a total of 18 inches long

any comments appreciated

I am guessing it is a variation of Skywatcher's ST80. Popular choice for a guide scope.

My next question is fitting this to my main scope to use as a guidescope/ finder scope. How is this best done? and where to get the bits needed within (uk)

As you can see it comes with fitting rings but this will only secure it to a fixed position on the main sope with no adjustments to colimate it.

I do not know how your current finder is mounted, but you could check out the set I got from Robtics | Astronomische Instrumenten en Accessoires which can be mounted onto my C8 through a Baader finder shoe.
