Star trails and plane trails

Not sure if this is exactly the right bit of the forum but it says "widefield"...

This is my first attempt at photographing stars, stacked in PS CS3 from 71 15 second images taken with a D300 looking SW from my garden last night before the moon washed everything out. I'm quite pleased with how it came out.

Rob, that's excellent... good result. I love the smoke from the chimney.... looks almost like a flower or ink in water.

If you want to remove the planes... paint them out in black prior to combining.

And that smoke coming from the chimney looks a bit like the Flame Nebula ..

Thanks a lot guys, glad you like it. I'm amazed at how many more stars show up even on this that I could see with the naked eye: I'd have guessed about 5 in the shot.
