Whoohoo. I got 2 mins of imaging tonight.

You've all experienced this a few times. Clear skies all afternoon and early evening. I spent 20 mins setting up the scope, started a test exposure... My focus was a bit out, and then suddenly the clouds rolled in, right over my first 2 min exposure and that's it for the night. Same thing happened yesterday AND the day before. :)

But anyway I thought I'd share a single frame

- scope looking through my bedroom window

- only a two minute single exposure, QHY8 one-shot colour

- with a full moon , and just a IDAS filter

the only single frame I got this evening already had the blurred bands of clouds clearly going through it, but I'm surprised the camera still managed to capture some structure. Quite wierd to see the blurred cloud streaks through the image.

I guess I am not the only one who's imaging setup keeps attracting the clouds to rush over suddenly?
