Bigdaddyjeff
:hello2:Hi Paul..welcome from me,another newbie too. I know exactly what you mean,i have exactly the same scope and i actually found Jupiter by chance. One Sunday evening about 3 weeks ago i just saw this very bright star in the sky and thought it strange to be so bright when the sky was still relatively blue....scope up...focus on...thought my scope was playing up at first because i could see 3 other (globes)...checked again...then got to my laptop to check my software which told me it was Jupiter....OMG...have since found Saturn too (Yesterday morning at 6am) and although it was distinctly Saturn there was a lot of Atmospheric blurring...i've ordered a Barlow lense and a moon filter for my collection so looking forward to using that when it comes.Happy viewing
