First light - kinda!

OK, technically it's first light, though I'm not sure if looking across the valley under the dense 100' cloud at a house counts. Still, got a very nice, upside-down view of somebody's curtains!

Here's hoping for some view of the skies in the next few days but the Met Office don't seem too hopeful for north Staffs...

How much detail could you make out? Colour? Texture? Material?

Hope the clouds clear for you soon so you can try your scope properly, and mind you dont get arrested for spying on peoples curtains

Heh, detail of the outside of the house and what appeared to be white curtain liners. Quite nicely pleated though - much better than ours which hang limply with too few hooks

The house is a mile or so away and I've only ever seen it as a couple of lights through the trees before!

I think I know too much about curtains...
