here is a couple of first attempt at digital camera shots,i know there is a lot of street lamp polution but wat can i do to improve.id be over the moon if any1 could advise for quality improvement.thanks for looking people.matt

Nice one Matt. I believe you can get filters to combat the dreaded orange glow, just going on what some of the experienced guys have posted on here before.

Nioce first shots, depending on what type of camera you are shooting with there are filters that block out the light put out by street lights.

it is a pretty good cam,cant remove or attatch any gizmos so i gotta suss this one out.next challenge lunar shot.

sorry its a 12mega pix fuji fine pix,i did 4 and 5 sec exposure iso 800.not sure on wat iso does or stands for,hoping to pick all this up from here.

Well I can see the Orion constellation, Orions Sword (including M42), the Pliedes (M45), the Plough constellation in your shots. So you're doing something right - nice start
