SKYWATCHER 1145P Finder Scope

Hi there

For Xmas I got a SKYWATCHER 1145P (with Goto mount). I was setting it up in the front room and was wondering how the finder scope could be accurate because its a little loose when its put on to its bolts (2 bolts stick out to screw it on to.

Also I think newer models come with a red dot finder, mine does not, should I get one?

Sounds like the bolts may be loose. Can you tighten them ?

Does it not have a 'shoe' that the finderscope sits on ?

Sorry I probably not described this very well.

The scope has 2 threads sticking out ( half inch) which both have a small nut on. Its this that the finder scope slides on to and over the nuts. As you could imagine a round hold on a nut would never be snug,
