Moon filter dust

Just bought a variable moon filter from my local shop as flo was out of stock

however! just got it home and noticed quite a bit of dust on it!

should i return it? or just see how it goes?

Just clean it! Use a "puffer", which you can get from a photography shop, to blow the dust away. Sometimes I use one of those "soft" make-up brushes for getting really stubborn dust off lenses. (But only use a brand new one and keep it in a plastic bag so it doesn't collect dust and make matters worse!)

I've got a puffer already, smashing! i just thought it was a bit cheeky giving me one in that sort of condition.
