creating custum landscape in stelrium

Since I now have an observatory and the scope is controlled through stellarium I thought it would be nice to have the view from inside my obs as the landscape in stellarium, I have tried following the instructions in the user guide but I can't get anything like a reasonable outcome...

Have any of you managed to do this successfully?
