Finding Mercury

I noticed that Mercury was visible tonight and had an angular separation of approx 4 degrees from the crescent Moon. I logged that at 4.30pm it had an azimuth reading of 220 degrees. I set up my map compass, check location and then using my 15x70 binos went looking. There it was Mercury and the crescent Moon in the same FOV.

Let us hope that the clear sky remains for tonight.
