Before i set about the scope with a hammer and chisel i thought i best ask on here.......

Is the lens cell collimatable ?? or if not how would i go collimating it (if i needed to)

I have an Omni XLT120 refractor.

the objective lense retainer has screws which appear to be for collimation, however I have never needed to adjust mine.

Have you got problems with it?

No no problems as yet , more a request for info in case i needed to collimate it

I've collimated refractors of that type - I use a simple cheshire-type collimation tool as per these guidelines:

Refractor Collimation

I'd star test the scope when it's fully cooled before tinkering though - most of the time they don't really need collimating.
