Hello

Here is Jupiter from last night.

The seeing was poor, I think this is to do with the rate at which the air temperature was dropping - it was -6C in my garden by half seven last night! Despite this my seven year old son came out for a look, his opinion was "oh yeah, can you zoom in a bit?"

Anyway the SEB outbreak was still nothing more than a grey strip because of the conditions, the NEB showed a white rift (just) and the EZ showed white ovals and grey festoon.

One day the seeing will be better than average - has to be one day.....

And last night I was out later than you! Looks like I just missed out on seeing the SEB revival feature. Another great sketch Chris. Well done

Seb, do you have Win Jupos?

You can find out when CM2 = 300 degrees and then time your session.

Its on the meridian ay about half eight tonight, if its not snowing!

Hi Chris,

I was out the same night at 1800UT and seeing was good, by the time the SEB outbreak was central - 1838UT seeing was worse !!

That's a great drawing given the conditions.
